Ms. Hunter's Art Classes-WINTER 2005

Gallery Visits

Osaka is a large, vibrant city with a strong tradition in the arts. Visual Art is all around you if you take the time to look.  There is a huge number of exhibition spaces in Osaka from the National Museum to Daimaru Department Store to small commercial spaces in Umeda and Namba.

You are required to make regular visits to galleries and museums in the Kansai area.  You should attend a variety of art spaces (such as public or private) and exhibitions (such as traditional or contemporary).
Go on your own, go with your classmates, take your friends or family and enjoy.
